Crafted exclusively from authentic Jinhua "Two-End-Black" pigs—strictly raised within the nine designated county farming regions of Jinhua. Known as the "Panda Pig of China" and recognized as an EU Geographical Indication breed, these pigs are free-ranged on grain diets in local Jinhua mountainous regions for over 240 days. Featuring a distinctive black head and tail with a snow-white torso, thin skin, fine bone structure, and exquisite marble-like fat distribution, it is the sole premium raw material for crafting top-tier ham, offering a rich, savory aroma that standard white pigs simply cannot replicate.
Entirely produced at the original source in Jinhua, Zhejiang: salted during the Winter Solstice and naturally aged across all four seasons without quick machine-drying. Only whole hind legs weighing 6–7.5 kg are selected and trimmed into the classic lute shape.
