Our founder, Mr. Liu Yau Hang, has been rooted in Hong Kong's high-end catering industry for forty years. In the mid-1980s, he managed the renowned dining establishment, Sun Tung Lok Shark's Fin Restaurant, leading it into its most profitable golden age. Years of directing high-end Cantonese banquets gave him in-depth exposure to top-tier Cantonese ingredients such as shark's fin, dried abalone, fish maw, and cordyceps, honing his professional eye for identifying authentic, high-grade dried seafood. Building upon his profound experience in the catering industry, Mr. Liu founded Yat Sun International Limited ("Yat Sun") in the early 1990s, specializing in wholesale and retail dried seafood for thirty-five years.
Established in Hong Kong, Yat Sun adheres to "Direct Source Sourcing, Hand Selection, and Honest Operations." Our sourcing footprint spans core marine regions worldwide, including Africa, South America, Australia, Japan, and northwestern South Asia, as well as high-altitude Chinese mountain regions in Tibet, Jiangxi, and Hubei. We strictly select precious ingredients such as dried abalone, sea cucumber, premium shark's fin, top-grade fish maw, dried scallops, premium flower mushrooms from Hubei, morel mushrooms from Jiangxi, and Tibetan high mountains wild cordyceps. In recent years, we have expanded our business into cured meats, food seasonings, and high-quality frozen dim sum, providing clients with more diverse culinary and nourishing choices. Today, we supply numerous five-star luxury hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, and major dining chain groups globally. Our independent processing facility located in Zhongshan China employs seasoned artisans who meticulously hand-select products and use traditional, minimal processing methods to preserve the natural nutrients of every ingredient.

Food Processing Services
Our independent food processing plant is located in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China. Holding a fully compliant food factory license, the facility features constant-temperature dry goods processing workshops, sterile packaging cleanrooms, and a dedicated quality testing area. We specialize in providing one-stop processing services for dried seafood, cured meats, and nourishing products for local wholesale, retail outlets, and global export (including the US, Japan, South Korea, and Europe).All processing procedures strictly comply with international standards and are supported by our proprietary global logistics network. Once processed, goods can be directly arranged for sea or air export with complete inspection certificates and official health documentation provided—saving local wholesalers and overseas distributors multiple intermediate steps while significantly optimizing costs and delivery time.
